New York City —
NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, announced 2-for-1 Broadway Week tickets are on sale today for nearly 20 of New York City’s most popular Broadway shows from September 4 to 16. Returning for its fourth iteration, the program will offer an additional incentive this fall: a free dessert when a ticket stub from one of the participating shows is presented at a participating restaurant. More than 25 restaurants in the Theatre District will celebrate Broadway Week with the dessert deal, including B. Smith’s Restaurant, Ca Va Brasserie, FireBird Restaurant, The Russian Tea Room, Shun Lee West and Sky Room Times Square. “Broadway theaters are offering tremendous value this fall with 2-for-1 tickets to nearly 20 world-class Broadway shows,” said George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company. “Broadway Week helps draw visitors to New York City and gives fans a reason to fill our theaters. We encourage both visitors and New Yorkers to take advantage of this savings opportunity and experience some of the world’s best entertainment.”

“The only thing better than seeing a Broadway show is the opportunity for two people to see a Broadway show for the price of one,” said Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of The Broadway League. “Thanks to the vision of NYC & Company and their Restaurant Week franchise, the first few Broadway Weeks have proved so successful that we’re thrilled to be in a position to offer this exciting opportunity again to benefit even more theater fans this September.”

Broadway Week is produced by NYC & Company in partnership with The Broadway League, AARP, Amtrak, NBC 4 New York and The New York Times.
