Are you an Art & Culture Maven too? Would you like to contribute to this blog, even on a one time or occasional basis?
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
• there is no money in it - this is a blog remember!
• what I will do is set up a "Contributors" page where I will post your picture (if you like) along with your name and links to your pieces, so you can use it as a showcase
• DO have a specific idea in mind and send me an email where you tell me the where, what, when and all that - put "Blog Proposal" or "Blog Query" in your subject line
• DO also send me a sample or two of your writing - unpublished is fine
• If you'd like to contribute on a regular basis, including some of the editorial responsibilities, then please get back to me even if you don't have a specific idea for a post.
Please have a good look at the blog if you haven't already and think about whether your idea fits into what is already there - or could be there. I have a pretty open mind, so if it's about art and culture, I will at least consider it even if it seems out in left field.
Until I get some help on the editorial side, it may take me up to a week to answer your email, so bear that in mind and try to give me some lead time. Putting a relevant label on your subject line will also let me know to look at your message as soon as I can.
