Lula Music and Arts Centre is proud to present LULAWORLD 2010 - celebrating global music from around the corner and around the world.

From May 5th to 30th, artists from throughout Canada are joined by international musicians to showcase the extraordinary diversity and calibre of Canadian global music - encouraging a cross-pollination between musical cultures and revealing that when it comes to global music, Toronto is one of the very best places in the world to be!

In addition to presentations by artists with roots in the musical traditions of Portugal, Sweden, Peru, Jamaica and Italy, this year's LULAWORLD festival features a special concert series highlighting the contributions made to Canadian musical culture by Latin America. The series, with support from Celebrate Ontario and the Ontario Arts Council, includes music from Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, Chile and Colombia.

Lula Music and Arts Centre is a not for profit organization (formerly Open City Arts) with the mandate to support world music through presentations, education and audience development.
