December 10, 2015 (TORONTO) - Drake Hotel Properties usher in 2016 with typical Drake cultural cachet and renowned hospitality. Live bands, DJs, unbeatable eats and bubbly will be on full display across all locations: Drake Hotel, Drake One Fifty and Drake Devonshire Inn to ring in the New Year right. Whether guests are reveling in the West End, going Motown Downtown or keeping it cozy in the County; celebrating with Drake will make for a sweet two thousand and sixteen.

Drake Hotel has the golden ticket that'll let party-goers dine, dance and celebrate their way into 2016. With evening options that include delicious bites, multiple seatings, a glass of complimentary chilled Perrier-Jouet champagne and Drake certified hot tunes, guests are sure to get that twinkle in their eye.

Early birds can indulge in a three-course dinner ($75) in our Lounge or Sky Yard at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. with expertly crafted cocktails awaiting at the bar post dinner. Later dining options in our Lounge or Sky Yard are at 9 p.m., 9:30 p.m. or 10 p.m. for a four-course meal ($125) as Oldies 990 serenade diners and DJ Dougie Boom gets revelers moving all night long. Both mouth-watering menus offer choices for each course including a show-stopping seafood platter brimming with marinated spot prawn, smoked mussels and crab claws or our house-made charcuterie board to start, while mains include herb crusted tenderloin with wild mushroom ragout + cured foie gras or lobster pot pie drizzled with cognac. Home-made petits fours will sweetly end both menus. The late-night seating also includes gourmet snacks to tide revelers over between dance moves including caramel popcorn, house-made chips + dip and macarons.

Another great option for party-goers is our famous strolling Underground cocktail party ($75) at 8 p.m. for plenty of good eats and musical treats while DJ Cozmic Cat puts a bounce in your step. This lively event features an array of Drake favourites including an oyster shucking bar and decadent lobster nacho station with mini meals like lamb belly skewers or Swedish meatball sliders and our famous Drake Bake Sale that will keep the countdown to midnight going. Guests can also boost their bling with glitter and metallic body painting by local artist Erin Harris, who will decorate partiers with her glam designs throughout the night.

Get down with the ultimate glam Throwback Thursday NYE Party. Drake One Fifty has crafted a delicious selection of prix-fixe dinners with a live jazz trio playing from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. providing the perfect early evening soundtrack to kick-start festivities. Diners can choose from a four-course seated dinner ($75) at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. or a six-course seated dinner ($125) at 8:30 p.m., 9 p.m., 9:30 p.m. or 10 p.m. The expert culinary team, headed by Jon Pong (Chef de Cuisine), is serving old school dishes such as charred vegetable consommé, crab cacio e pepe, lobster thermidor or delectable beef wellington and a rich double-chocolate soufflé for dessert.

As the night rolls on, Drake One Fifty heats up with a Motown Party throw-down for the countdown. Boogie-down to uptown funk classics from the Motown, Stax and Tamla labels plus Northern Soul rarities and remixes of tracks from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and The Temptations by resident Motown Party/Good Kids: DJ Fawn Big Canoe and Steve Rock - can you dig it? Dance machines, food lovers and culture seekers are encouraged to reserve their New Year’s Eve romp early as the stunning Drake One Fifty will be the go-to NYE locale in the financial district.

All That Glitters NYE 2016 x Drake Devonshire | 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. $95| 10 p.m. onward $35
The Drake Devonshire is keeping it cozy in the County with roaring fireplaces, stunning views and county wines flowing. Drake's chic all-season retreat on the Eastern shores of Lake Ontario is going all-out with an inn-wide bash featuring a strolling spread of tempting food stations, live jazz and Brendan Canning on the decks to ring in the New Year.

A jazz trio will perform lively pop + folk instrumentals, providing the perfect backdrop while guests feast on dishes from Chef Matt DeMille including a luxurious seafood bar in the dining room filled to the brim with freshly shucked oysters, prawns, mussels, Albacore tuna and more alongside grazing tables of slow roasted lamb, porchetta and crisped herb potatoes. The Glass Box will feature a spread including house-made charcuterie + dips, pickled vegetables, freshly baked bread and local cheeses. The feast continues with Drake Devonshire favourites such as fresh pickerel po'boy, pork rillettes and mini Devonshire fish tacos that will be passed throughout the night. Gourmands are encouraged to stick around and enjoy nostalgic goodies and sweets at the bake sale to satisfy their sweet-teeth. Late-comers can dance into the wee hours with a complimentary glass of bubbly upon arrival starting from 10 p.m. for $35, as founding member of Broken Social Scene, Brendan Canning, hits the DJ booth. The award winning Canadian musician, who has worked with the likes of Feist, Metric and Stars, will spin 80’s soul, dance and rock tunes to bring down the house.

The Drake Devonshire bar will also be in full swing with exclusive complimentary unfiltered Pilsner Urquell straight from the Czech Republic and our mixologists shaking up winter warmers such as our Winter in Kentucky $14 or The First Frost $14.
