From Nacional Records: Some Jams For Your COVID-19 Quarantine Listening

A message from our friends at Nacional Records:

Time to listen to more music at home🏡🎶
Music for the COVID-19 quarantine

Nacional Records would like to send a message of health and calm during this time of uncertainty. As COVID-19 holds the world in temporary stand-still we would like to start off our newsletter with a message of kindness, support, and some music to get you through!

Thanks in advance for your continued support of indie music in media and on the radio. The world needs music more than ever right now and the music industry (especially the indie world), needs your support to make it through what is going to be a bumpy ride for the entertainment industry and the world in general.

Elbow bumps and namaste prayer hands greetings to all! 🙏

LISTEN TO OUR JAMS:
Self-quarantine Dance Party Jam  🕺
Cheo "No Quiero Ser Tu Amigo"

The song tells the story of being "friend-zoned" after a few dates  (because her boyfriend (!?) - oops she forgot to mention him - is moving to town - one of our favorite song backstories of late), all set to a groovy disco vibe. The song is the perfect jam to inspire a spontaneous dance party at home. (Backstory update - she's no longer with the boyfriend
and she and Cheo are still friends).

Pacha Massive New Album "Normal" 🏝🍹

Who's not a little low-key stressed right now with the news?  Pacha Massive's new album "Normal" gives us super chill, sexy, tropical island vacay vibes just in time to relax and take us away while sitting at home.

Focus track is "Veneno" ft Gabriel. Gabriel has a who’s who of tropical artists among his previous collaborations including Olga Tañon, Elvis Crespo, Juan Luis Guerra, among many others.   The song is already climbing up the Dominican Republic's radio charts!

“Veneno” sets a sexy, sultry mood with Pacha’s signature electro-laced Carribbean-tinged groove.

Guitar Rock | Happy Freuds - Echo Of Sounds Independent: May 31, 2019

Guitar Rock
Happy Freuds - Echo Of Sounds
Independent: May 31, 2019
Stream/Buy on Bandcamp

With tight musicians and intriguing lyrics, Happy Freuds delivers high energy guitar rock with stylistic flair on Echo Of Sounds, their debut release. Produced with a minimum of overdubs or fixes, the album consists of a mix of original material, rearrangements of works from others and selected, less known, classic rock.

A kinetic rhythm section is the bones of the music, offering interesting patterns that augment sometimes unexpected harmonic changes. It's brainy rock, in other words, meant for music lovers who can appreciate the quality. Teo's vocals are raspy and expressive, growly when necessary - perfect for the musical mode. Teo also covers lead guitar, adapt at ear worm leads, with a tone that can be clean or dirty as required

Their sound ranges from straight up hard rock in tracks like The Mountain to the pop-flavoured acoustic Background Noise and folky To …
